by the English National Ballet
Inspired by Arielle Smith’s Jolly Folly for English National Ballet, A Comedy in Long-shot explores our desire for the collective experience. This short film showcases the vibrant ENBYouthCo dancers through a series of videos taken by them in their home.
Choreographed by ENBYouthCo's Creative Director, Richard Bermange, the work explores the exuberance of early Hollywood, drawing parallels between the 1920s and 2020s.
Created for the online dance festival U.Dance, the short film is now available here.
