Petra Cik, Dina Jularić Ivančić and Roko Radovan performed at the concert of scholarship holders and soloists of the Opera Studio, accompanied by Darijan Ivezić, and Opera champion Ljubomir Puškarić, replacing Benjamin Šuran, who was unable to perform.
After the concert, the director of the Opera Željka Barišić Pulig presented the scholarship holders and soloists of the Opera Studio for the 2024/2025 season: Petra Cik (soprano), Hana Ilčić (soprano), Lovra Gujinović (tenor) and Ivan Šćepanović (conductor), and the soloists of the Opera Studio: Nikolina Hrkać (soprano), Dina Jularić Ivančić (mezzo-soprano), Josipa Švagelj (tenor) and Marina Čarga (baritone).
The efforts of the HNK Opera in Zagreb were also recognized by the famous opera artist Mirjana Bohanec Vidović. Starting next season, the prize will be awarded to one of the young artists who are included in the program for scholarship holders and soloists of the HNK Opera Studio in Zagreb. Mrs. Bohanec Vidović presented this year's award to Marija Salečić, a 5th-year student of the Music Academy.
The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb was founded in 1860 and since 1895, it has been residing in the building designed by the renowned architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer.
