FEDORA's Activities
The crowdfunding campaign for the nominees of the FEDORA Prizes Biennale 2025 has successfully concluded, marking an important milestone for these 12 groundbreaking projects.
Thanks to the generosity of 377 donors from 23 countries, the projects have collected €62,000, demonstrating the impact that can be created through the democratisation of philanthropy beyond borders. Every donation, no matter its amount, reaffirms the importance of collective efforts in making these innovative creations reach the stage.
We are especially grateful to our generous matching funders: The Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation, The FEDORA Rolf Liebermann Fund, the AVL Cultural Foundation, Variations International, and BPI Learn, for doubling donations.
This crowdfunding campaign reflects a growing disposition towards FEDORA’s commitment to generosity without borders, transcending geographic, cultural, and financial limitations, making international philanthropy and the support to emerging artists more accessible to a wider audience.
This was made possible thanks to our partnership with Transnational Giving Europe, providing a secure and tax-effective cross-border giving framework that allows donors in the countries of its network to benefit from tax advantages.
We would like to thank every single individual who has supported these crowdfunding campaigns. By working together, we are supporting the nominees and contributing to a more equitable and vibrant cultural landscape — one where generosity knows no boundaries, and the arts flourish for all.
On the occasion of Giving Tuesday, celebrating generosity without borders, international Matching Funds were unlocked for our nominated projects’ crowdfunding campaigns.
In October 2024, a special event was hosted at the Palais Garnier to officially announce the 12 nominees for the FEDORA Prizes Biennale 2025, featuring 77 artists from 11 countries, and to kick off their crowdfunding campaigns.
