Digital Transformation in Action - Capacity-Building Workshops

This online workshop, consisting of two morning sessions on 16 and 24 April, offers participants the chance to learn about three success stories in the digital realm and to interact with and quiz four creative leaders.
Sara Arnsteiner-Simonischek, Director of Communication and Digital Mediation at Konzerthaus Berlin (Germany) presents "SPIELZEIT“ – Live streams on the Gaming Platform TWITCH featuring concerts, challenges, nerd talk — members of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin share insights into their everyday lives in the format series "Spielzeit" on the live-streaming platform twitch.tv.
James Bingham, Studio and Outreach producer at Irish National Opera (Ireland) presents Out of the Ordinary, the FEDORA Digital Prize Winner in 2021, a new Virtual Reality community opera developed for and with people living across Ireland.
João Hora, Senior Technical Producer at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (Portugal), presents Equipping an International Arts Centre for the Digital Age in which he explains how he created an integrated digital video and audio system which covers the entire Gulbenkian Centre in Lisbon in order to deliver its digital strategy.
Peter Maniura, IMZ Academy Director
(United Kingdom), will chair the sessions and also present Live streaming opera and dance — the basics and a further case study - Opera Passion Day - a digital initiative from the British opera sector and the BBC.

These sustainability workshops will focus on the foundations, the environmental management systems and best practices in the cultural sector.
