FEDORA Platform supports "Stepping Out, Stepping Up!" by Birmingham Royal Ballet
A new dance film by the trail-blazing Freefall Dance Company, Birmingham Royal Ballet’s second company for talented dancers with learning disabilities premiered during the Birmingham International Dance Festival earlier this month.
"Stepping Out, Stepping Up" is inspired by Director Carlos Acosta and the music of Cuban-Iranian band Ariwo. The Freefall dancers created this work during lockdown via zoom and filmed it on location, working with filmmaker Oliver Hodges.
