Event Arts and Culture for a Socially Impactful Europe
FEDORA's Activities
On 22-24 January 2025, we had the privilege of attending the conference Arts and Culture for a Socially Impactful Europe in Lisbon. The conference focused on how the power of arts and culture is being leveraged across Europe to address societal issues and foster stronger, more inclusive communities.
Our Director Edilia Gänz attended this event to be inspired by leaders from the arts, philanthropy, and policy sectors through interactive discussions and workshops related to co-creative and participatory methods empowering local communities to tackle challenges in the European ecosystem.
The host of this event, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in partnership with other European philanthropic foundations, aimed to promote socially engaged arts as a powerful tool for social transformation, creating a more connected, resilient, and inclusive future for European communities.
At FEDORA, we are excited to bring these practices to life and share them with our vibrant community. Our goal is to spark a meaningful transformation in the performing arts, making them more accessible, dynamic, and engaging for a new generation of young audiences. We look forward to strengthening and contributing to the shaping of cultural policy and collaboration across Europe.
