FEDORA’s Board Members appoint Stéphane Argyropoulos as new President

Paris, 3 April 2024 - Following the sudden passing of FEDORA’s late President Jérôme-François Zieseniss on 19 February 2024, who had been the President of FEDORA since 2013, the Board of FEDORA has appointed Stéphane Argyropoulos as new President. He had previously been Vice-President of FEDORA and a member of the Board since 2022. He is the Founder and President of The Silver Company that sponsors the FEDORA Opera Prize.
The Board also appointed Jérome-François Zieseniss as Honorary President of FEDORA, in honour of his legacy.

A financial expert with extensive international experience and track record
Stéphane Argyropoulos was born in 1969 in France where his Greek father and Cuban mother fortunately met. With a solid international background Stéphane started his career in South Korea and later acquired an excellent expertise in financial transactions as an investor with 3i, M&A advisor with KPMG Corporate Finance, and head of the Mid-Cap M&A team at Credit Suisse Private Bank. In 2012, Stéphane Argyropoulos founded The Silver Company, an advisory firm offering unparalleled financial advice and structuring for top managers in mid-cap buy-out transactions. It has assisted over 80 company management in fostering and realising their ambitions through adequate capital, deal and process structuring. Since 2016, Stéphane also chairs the board of AMFIE, a financial cooperative serving staff members of intergovernmental organisations and their families worldwide. Stéphane Argyropoulos has been on the FEDORA Board since 2022 and Vice-President since 2023. He is married to an Italian and has two adult children.
