Finnish National Opera and Ballet Visibility Campaign 2024

The Finnish National Opera and Ballet has partnered with several prominent Chilean theatres, including the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Teatro Municipal de Las Condes, Teatro Regional del Maule, Teatro Biobío, Teatro del Lago, and Centro GAM, to enhance their production capabilities through the implementation of XR Stage technology.
This collaboration involves in-depth training sessions for technical teams from these theatres, providing them with the skills needed to effectively utilize this innovative platform. XR Stage technology allows for immersive 3D visualization, enabling theatres to create digital replicas of their stages for improved planning and design of large-scale productions.
The initiative aims to modernize production processes in Chilean performing arts and strengthen the connection between local theatres and international practices. With the support of Ópera Latinoamérica and the Centre for the Technological Revolution in Creative Industries, this project represents a significant step forward in integrating virtual and augmented reality into the Latin American arts scene.
