Spotlights on Future: A New Massimo Generation

In their webseries entitled "Spotlights on Future: A New Massimo Generation", Fondazione Teatro Massimo Palermo decided to celebrate youth in the operatic world and highlight the importance of giving young people a voice.

Each episode deals with a different theme, starting in 2023 with episodes on the youth ensembles (episode 1) and the instrument of violin (episode 2). This year, there are ten new episodes focusing on the different instruments: piano (episode 3), cello (episode 4), harp (episode 5), clarinet (episode 6), saxophone (episode 7), bass (episode 8), and finally the construction workshops (episodes 9 and 10).

 The Teatro Massimo Vittorio Emanuele in Palermo opened its doors to the public on the evening of 16 May 1897, twenty-two years after the solemn public ceremony of the laying of the first stone.
