On the occasion of its General Assembly on June 5th, our Platform Member, Freunde und Förderer der Saatsoper Unter den Linden, presented the FEDORA Platform. This General Assembly provides its members an exclusive look behind the scenes and into the work of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. The projects and events of the Friends were also announced on this occasion.

This year's Roadshow at Teatro alla Scala took place on the occasion of theroundtable "Die Tote Stadt - femme fatale fra reincarnazione e desantificazione" (Die Tote Stadt - femme fatale between reincarnation and desantification). Organised by Franco Pulcini, the conference took place in the Ridotto dei Palchi "Arturo Toscanini" before the première of Erich Wolfgang Korngold's opera "Die tote Stadt".

The adventure of "Un Air de famille"' started in September 2018 with an open application for anyone willing to learn singing opera choir arias. Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier received more than 300 applications to the project. All these amateur choristers started working every 15 days with professionnal choirmasters and stage directors.
The final big concert took place on the 19th of April and was the occasion to present the FEDORA Platform and its new commitment to Educational projects with the launch an Education Prize.
