On 13 February 2025, members of our team attended the “Chaillot Augmenté” conference, organised by Théâtre national de Chaillot in collaboration with TMNlab.
Over two days, artists, researchers, and tech professionals came together to explore the intersection of performing arts and digital innovation, from XR and AI to transmedia storytelling and artificial performing arts.
The conference offered a rich program, including plenary sessions, live podcasts, and a demo area where attendees could experience cutting-edge technologies firsthand. It provided a platform for:
Artistic Insights: Sensitive, real-world feedback from multidisciplinary artists.
Technological Advancements: A deep dive into the latest tools and techniques applicable to dance, drama, circus, and beyond.
Ecosystem Collaboration: Fostering dialogue between culture, research, and tech sectors to drive innovation and skill development.
By attending this event, we gained valuable insights into how digital technologies are reshaping the performing arts landscape—from creation and production to audience engagement. These insights resonate strongly with FEDORA’s mission to foster artistic innovation and ensure that opera and dance remain accessible, dynamic, and meaningful in today’s digital world.
