Celebrating the new stage of the Poznań Opera House

A press conference was held on September 28, during which journalists and invited guests met with the director of the Poznań Opera House Renata Borowska-Juszczynska, Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region Marek Wozniak, Wojciech Kordowski of Mikor Inżyniering, the main contractor, and representatives of institutions involved in the renovation of the main stage of the Poznań Opera House: Pracownia Akustyczna, P.S. Theater, L-Acoustics. The speakers talked about the course of the modernisation, which lasted more than two years, and the scope of the work carried out in the systems of stage mechanics, acoustics, lighting and security.

During the event there was also an artistic part directed by Karolina Sofulak, presenting the impressive technical capabilities of the opera house. Performing on the Stage under Pegasus were dancers Chiara Ruaro and Miguel Eugênio de Sousa Júnior, as well as the Chorus and Orchestra of the Poznań Opera House under the baton of Maestro Jacek Kaspszyk, who will serve as Music Director in the 2023/2024 season.
