Poznan Opera House Roadshow 2024
Platform Members, Roadshow
Hundreds of meters of cables, dozens of people on stage, huge concentration in each team, but most of all joy and excitement - the premiere of “Manon Lescaut” by Giacomo Puccini, which took place on 08.06.2024 on the stage of the Poznan Opera House, is behind them!
It was an evening full of debuts. Puccini's masterpiece was presented on our stage for the first time ever, with Iwona Sobotka and Dominik Sutowicz making their debuts in the parts of Manon and Des Grieux. This special atmosphere on the backstage was captured by Bartek Barczyk Photography.
Before the premiere sounds rang out, their guests and the audience had the extraordinary opportunity to meet with the show's producers director Gerard Jones and costume designer Donna Raphael.
On 9.06.2024r. at 18:00 and on 13.06.2024 the title part was performed by Yuliia Aleksieyeva (singer – soprano) - emerging artist from Ukraine. She was accompanied by Max Jota (Des Grieux), Mateusz Lugowski (Lescault) and Piotr Friebe (Edmondo).
