On Thursday, May 24th, our Platform Member Kungliga Operan (Royal Swedish Opera), organised a fundraising event for its patrons and subscribers and for the Friends of the Royal Swedish Ballet in order to raise money for the point shoe costs for the Royal Swedish Ballet. The target of this fundraising campaign is 500,000 SEK (around €50,000) and will end on December 31st, 2018.
On this occasion, a ballet rehearsal was given, as well as a ballet class in to instruct in the use of point shoes.

The Deadly World of Opera, created by director Sarah Baxter and INO Studio and Outreach Producer James Bingham, is a witty and informative deconstruction of how opera works. The FEDORA Platform was presented on the occasion of the dernière of PUSH dedicated mainly to families. Young artists and a young audience were invited for an introduction that explains this community project as well as the values of the FEDORA Platform and its mission to support educational projects in the field of the performing arts.
