The public played a crucial role in selecting the recipient of the FEDORA Audience Award by voting for their favourite among the 12 FEDORA Prizes Biennale Nominees.

Join us in celebrating outstanding innovation in opera and dance, as we spotlight the artists and projects shaping the future of the performing arts.

About FEDORA & the FEDORA Prizes Biennale

The FEDORA Platform’s mission is to support and showcase sustainable innovation in the field of opera and dance on, behind, and beyond the stage. We provide visibility and new funding opportunities to innovative, cutting-edge co-productions created by emerging artists that are still in the making through the world’s largest opera and dance competition: the FEDORA Prizes Biennale. Founded in 2013 under the presidency of Jérôme-François Zieseniss as a tribute to Rolf Liebermann, FEDORA is a non-profit association chaired by Stéphane Argyropoulos and hosted at the Palais Garnier in Paris supporting sustainable innovation and creativity in opera and dance on a European scale through two funding programmes: the FEDORA Prizes Biennale and the Next Stage initiative.

On Saturday, 26 April 2025, we will announce the winners of the FEDORA Prizes Biennale at the Vienna State Opera:

The FEDORA Opera Prize (€100,000), with the support of The Silver Company and in collaboration with Opera Europa;
The FEDORA - VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Dance Prize (€100,000), with the support of Van Cleef & Arpels and in collaboration with Opera Europa;
The FEDORA Education Prize (€50,000), with the support of Carlara International and in collaboration with RESEO;
The FEDORA Digital Prize (€50,000), with the support of KEARNEY and in collaboration with the IMZ - International Music + Media Centre.
