FEDORA - VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Prize for Ballet 2021

From 4 to 7 of November the winner of the FEDORA - VAN CLEEF & Arpels Prize for Ballet 2021, La Visita, came to life and reached audiences. During five dream-like performances, this site-specific project, led by Fondazione I Teatri, brought Peeping Tom’s theatricality, disruption and surrealism into the world of art galleries, within the Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Dance training for people with a disability

FEDORA Education Prize Winner 2021

This project illustrates how dancers with a disability create added value for the contemporary dance scene. They train dancers with a disability and create productions with dancers with and without a disability. The Goldberg Variations is one of them and works with Bach's compositions and Paxton's improvisational dance from the 1980s.

Irish National Opera - Ireland
FEDORA Digital Prize 2021 Winner

Out of the Ordinary is being created in rural Ireland, on Inis Meáin, and in Tallaght and South County Dublin by groups of people who are turning experiences that matter to them into an opera. Director Jo Mangan and composer Finola Merivale have been working with them since last year. And the cream of Irish virtual reality expertise will also be on hand to realise their vision and transform it into a unique virtual reality experience.

In creation now for presentation to locations around Ireland in Summer 2022.
