Culture is fundamental; music, the visual arts and science connect us. They guide our lives in a constantly changing world. But as a society, do we have a responsibility toward culture? How can culture be, or indeed should it be encouraged? And what is the role of philanthropy?
The conversation will be led in French; participation and questions are welcome in both French and English.

Giving time and money plays an important role in our lives, no matter the reason or the amount we give. There is no doubt that empathy and generosity go hand in hand with philanthropy regardless of the number of pennies involved. So, what should we give? And how much?
The conversation will be led in English; participation and questions are welcome in both English and French.
Facilitating cross-border giving and boosting European philanthropy, offering funding opportunities and online capacity-building to our members, and promoting their online activities, learn more about our activities during this period.
Read moreOn January 17th, 2019 Director of FEDORA Edilia Gänz was invited by the EESC - European Economic and Social Committee to join their public hearing panel about "European Philanthropy: an untapped potential".
The panelists discussed what the EU institutions could do to promote organised philanthropy in Europe and how this could contribute to EU values and economic growth.
On November 18th FEDORA held its general assembly online. On this occasion, two new board members were elected, the four winners of the FEDORA Prizes 2020 were announced and the event gathered honored guest speakers on the topic of "The Performing Arts and the Digital Shift".
