World Premiere of "Mont Ventoux" - FEDORA - Van Cleef & Arpels Dance Prize Winner 2023
FEDORA Prizes, Winners
This project by Kor'sia, the Madrid-based company, is led by the Italian choreographers Antonio de Rosa and Mattia Russo, and dramaturge Agnés López-Río.
Together they reinterpret Francesco Petrarca's 1336 work "Ascent to Mont Ventoux," to rethink and reflect on the physical, mental, and intellectual aspects of our daily life in the world we have created. They portray it as a time for a new Renaissance: a reset, to build a new man and to force a shift in paradigm towards humanism.
