Alex Cerantola, baritone, began his vocal activity in 2011 joining the Musica Insieme Choral Group (directed by R. Simonetto). In 2012 he began his studies in opera singing under the guidance of soprano Elisabetta Battaglia. In the same year he began his concert activity, both as a soloist and as a member of the choral group, with the Atelier of Canto Lirico Agogica. He also collaborates with the En Clara Vox choir of Possagno (dir. D. Pauletto), with the Veneto Philharmonic Choir (dir. M. Titotto), with Iris Ensemble (dir. M. Malavasi), and with the Coro Lirico Veneto (dir M. Valbusa), groups with whom he performed both operatic repertoire in the theaters of Treviso, Padua, Rovigo and Ferrara, and sacred (WA Mozart's Requiem, G. Verdi's Requiem Mass, The Passion according to S. Marco di L Perosi, Krӧnungsmesse by WA Mozart, ...). In September 2015 he records with the Thümmel Ensemble in absolute premiere the 27 Haidenburger Vӧgellaute by Fabio Nieder (dir. M. Malavasi).
Since 2017, Alex Cerantola is the Founder and Artistic Director of the "Un Palco al Tabarin" festival, in collaboration with the Atelier Association of Opera Lyrical. With the Venice Chamber Orchestra he debuted as Simone in La finta semplice (2017) and as Masetto in the Don Giovanni (2019) from WA Mozart (dir. P. Semenzato). Since May 2018, he collaborates with the Education Department of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, realizing the children's show "A magic ring of gnomes and heroes” based on the Wagnerian tetralogy.
