Short Bio

Amina is a social scientist and researcher who is deeply moved by Cairo’s history, culture, heritage, and social fabric. Amina has spent the majority of her career working with multiple organizations that enable local communities and youth as well as the production of community-based cultural activations.

Amina graduated with Highest Honors from The American University in Cairo with a bachelor in Sociology, and Community Development.

Amina also has a deep passion for the arts, and has dedicated her extracurricular and then her part-time professional time to developing the local music and performing arts scene on an organizational and production level. An advocate for social equality and development , Amina believes in the power of artistic expression and community as she reflects on the problems of society through pushing for dialogue.
