Short Bio

Clara Baget is a leader among the young generation of French orchestral and choral conductors, already establishing a reputation for the subtlety and finesse of her work. Given her vivacious creative energy, collaborative openness and personal warmth, she was an ideal candidate to take on the role of Musical Director in The Curing Line. She also plays a character role onstage.

Clara is the conductor for both singers and ensemble, and as Musical Director is a core collaborator with Michael on the planning and execution of the rehearsal process. Clara will also conduct a day-long rehearsal with each of the amateur choirs that we work with in the cities to which we tour, teaching them their material for the show.
