Lise Bruyneel

Short Bio

LISE BRUYNEEL works in dialogue between visual arts and performing arts. After studying cello and history of art in Brussels, Berlin and Rome, she has first been active as a cellist and then as a dramaturge in the opera world.

In 2009, she founded la fabrique des regards, a creative platform reflecting on the combination of sounds and images in various ways and for various institutions, from publishing projects to exhibitions, from the Ruhrtriennale to the Paris Opera.

Since 2013, Lise has been experimenting new paths between images and music by mixing videos live during classical concerts, in a poetical language and a musical rhythm.
