FEDORA Recognised By Creative Europe Programme For Best Practices During Covid-19 Crisis
FEDORA's Activities
We are honored to have been recognised by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union as one of their beneficiaries who responded best to the challenges brought forth by the Covid-19 crisis.
“The platform responded to the COVID-19 crisis by launching the first online Transnational Giving Europe Platform [...] which facilitates online cross-border giving and boosts philanthropy in Europe. That is more than ever necessary as the performing arts’ existence is challenged by the pandemic.” - Creative Europe
"The Creative Europe programme supports and invests in actions that reinforce cultural diversity and respond to the needs and challenges of the cultural and creative sectors. FEDORA is a proud beneficiary of the programme since 2017." - Jérôme-François Zieseniss, President of FEDORA
“Thanks to the collaboration with the Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) network and generous support of the King Baudouin Foundation and the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, we were able to together launch this new Platform alongside Common Goal. This online solution significantly boosts philanthropy for non-profit organisations across Europe in these difficult times." - Edilia Gänz, Director of FEDORA
