Virtual guided tour of a ballet company

Cultural mediation is part of the missions of the National Choreographic Center, Malandain Ballet Biarritz. The Malandain Ballet Biarritz performs an average of 300 interventions a year, often with young people. Eager to raise awareness of dance among an ever wider audience and to multiply forms of intervention with audiences, the Malandain Ballet Biarritz intends to create a digital mediation tool around classical / neoclassical dance.

The initial idea is to take advantage of the many possibilities offered by digital tools and to maintain a close relationship with young audiences who are daily users of digital devices, and to inform the general audience about the functioning of a ballet, the different professions and activities.

This tool will target young people from primary school to high school, who after using it, will have references on some "fundamentals" of the Malandain Ballet Biarritz:

The aesthetics worn by the Malandain Ballet Biarritz
The process of creating a ballet, a piece
The profession of dancer: how does one become a dancer of the Malandain Ballet Biarritz? What is the daily life of dancers?
The functioning of a ballet, the different professions, the necessary means
And others.

The user will have access to different types of content (videos, cartoons, fact sheets) through a virtual tour of the Gare du Midi in Biarritz, the headquarters of the Malandain Ballet Biarritz. Each room of the Gare du Midi will allow you to learn about a particular theme: the creation of a Ballet, the repertoire, the technique, the organization of a tour, etc.
